The EPA has ranked Coca-Cola third in its list of largest on-site green power generators, largely as a result of a landfill gas-to-energy system at an Atlanta facility. The landfill gas-to-energy system generates 48 million kWh each year, and contributes to the facilities electricity, steam and chilled water energy needs.
